£1,195raised of £1,000 target by 26 supporters

Weʼve raised £1,195 to donate to the Crewkerne & Villages Parkinson Support Group

Funded on Friday, 21st December 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Dad passed away on the 10th February 2018 following a tremendous show of strength and courage living with Parkinsons.
He has left behind many years of happy memories for all that had the pleasure of his company.

To help Dads local Parkinsons support group, Anna and myself are raising funds by either running and cycling through 2018 in registered events.
We will update the mileage count as we progress the year.

Thank you for your support and taking the time to read.

All funds raised will go to the Crewkerne & Villages Parkinson Support Group.

Today the boys stepped out of their comfort zone to participate in the Goldenstones/Wessex Wizards Aquathlon (their first one). Fin managed a super fast swim time and Oscar a brilliant run time. They have increased our miles total to 399, well done boys! The boys say 'thanks to everyone that has donated for our grandad'. xx

Right,so, with the chaos of the summer holidays we haven't taken part in events. To make up for it I have done 2 two weekends in a row.Last weekend I took part in the Shepton Beauchamp 10k which was hot and ended with cardiac hill,a small but fab event.Yesterday I stepped out of my running comfort zone & took part in the Langport Novice Triathlon which was a total challenge-I'm not a swimmer or cyclist!I managed to finish 30th out of 151 participants which I was extatic about.Thank you for your support to this awesome charity!396 miles to date!x
