I am an Explorer Scout and am lucky enough to have been selected to represent the 'Petworth and Pulborough district' at the 24th World Scout Jamboree 2019 in West Virginia, https://www.2019wsj.org/. I'm going to donate my hair on the 29th June 2018 to the Little Princess Trust, http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/, who make wigs for cancer patients aged up to 24 years and fundraise for my trip at the same time. I need to raise £3,495 to attend the Jamboree. Not only does this pay for me, a percentage of the cost goes towards helping people in less developed countries attend the Jamboree as well. I have chosen to do this because someone else will benefit from my sponsored event.
