    Story

    Majorette Troupes and Baton Twirling Teams are non-profit organisations run by volunteers and funded by weekly subs, yet over 2,000 of these skilled and talented youngsters want to come together from all over England Scotland and Wales, to Birmingham and make an OFFICIAL ATTEMPT ON THE GUINNESS WORLD RECORD For Most People Twirling a Baton. Not only do theses mainly youngsters want to do this for their Country, they want their skills to be proactive in bringing positive outcomes for others less fortunate than there selves. Therefore they want to raise money for Children in Need. That's not all they are doing it in Memory of Children in Need stalwart: Sir Terry Wogan. It is called TWIRL 4 TERRY.
    This appeal is not related to donations to Children in Need, it is solely to tackle the cost of traveling to Birmingham and back.
    It might not be the same as Sponsoring an Olympic Athlete to got to whatever country is hosting Olympics, but theses youngsters include those who have competed in World Championships and to them being part of the LARGEST EVENT OF THIS KIND IN THE WORLD is their Olympics and they are as charged up as Sir Mo Farrah on the starting blocks, determined to go for gold and get that World Record!
    REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A CHARITY APPEAL IT IS SUPPORT FOR A GROUP OF YOUNGSTERS WANTING TO DO SOMETHING GOOD, POSITIVE AND MEMORABLE. TOMORROWS CITIZENS DOING GOOD FOR TODAY!
