*** A LITTLE BIT OF A GIG *** in aid of Young Minds on November 8th 2017 (8-10.30pm, doors open at 7.30pm)

We are putting on an evening of songs to raise money for Young Minds – the UK’s leading charity dedicated to improving the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.

This is why:

We were devastated by the loss of a family friend last December – Joe had just had his16th birthday when his struggle with emotional health overtook him and he tragically took his own life. His family have raised an incredible amount on his Just Giving page, and we pledged to add to that page by holding our own fundraising event.

We, along with a group of friends, are holding a mini ‘gig’ – an informal evening of acoustic songs – some contemporary covers and some original material (but please note we are not professionals). The church holds up to 100 – it would be great to fill it!

There will be a bar (run by the church to cover hire costs) and we will be selling some snacks and raffle tickets.

ALL the money we raise will then go to Joe’s Just Giving page – to support Young Minds in memory of Joe.

Buying a ticket:

In order to sell tickets in advance we need to set up this crowd-funding page – if you make a donation we will email you a “ticket” in return (£5 for students, £10 or more if you can afford it!). So please include name and email with ticket purchase (i.e. DON'T DO IT ANONYMOUSLY or we can't put you on the guestlist). You can also buy raffle tickets in advance by adding to your donation if you feel like it! (see below).
