Story
I am raising £400 to support The Lexi May Trust who help fund memorable days out for families of children who are terminally ill or have life limiting illness.
How am I raising this money? By jumping out of a plane of course! I've never done anything like this before and it is quite frankly terrifying, so the more sponsorship I get the stronger motivation I will have to go through with it!
The Lexi May Trust was created in memory of a beautiful little girl, Lexi. Lexi was a fun, loving, smiley, happy 7 year old who was diagnosed with a DIPG brain tumour in January 2015. The diagnosis gave the family 9-12 months of precious time to make memories with her family including two sisters. Lexi fought bravely to the end, sadly passing away in the arms of her parents in January 2016, aged 8.
No parent should have to face the prospect of a future without their child, but for those that do have to, the more memories they can hold onto the better. Lexi loved nothing more than a fun day out and she is the inspiration behind the Lexi May Trust who support children with terminal illness or life limiting conditions throughout Dorset, by providing memorable, fun, special days out for them and their family.
