My name is Amani and I'm a hard working 14-year-old girl. I am hoping to attend the Serious Adventure course that is organised and run by The Outward Bound Trust. They are an educational charity that use the outdoors to help develop people from all walks of life. The seven day course will take place during the month of August in Aberdovey, Snowdonia.

Those taking part will visit spectacular places, climb rocks, navigate through hills and scramble up waterfalls. The course will culminate in a overnight camping expedition deep amongst the mountains.

By taking part, I hope to become more independent, confident and resilient. I will also develop many valuable life skills whilst aquiring an awareness and concern for the natural environment.

The cost of the course is £549. I have been awarded a bursary of £165, leaving me to pay a total of £384. Hopefully, with your help, I will be able to raise enough money so that I can take part in this course .
