I will be cutting all my hair off on Feb 3rd for Diabetes UK... Any sponsor would be very much appreciated... x

Our daughter was taken in to hospital and diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes on her 9th birthday in 2011. Every day since she as overcome so many obstacles and shown us true courage. As her parents we could not be more proud of her. Diabetes doesnt give her a day off because she may have exams, a party, a sleep over or if she's horse riding with her friends. I listen to her wake at night testing when she feels low, I hear her sneak off to her room to change her needle and I also watch the disappointment in her face when she tries on clothes but wont buy them due to her pump being on show but she NEVER EVER complains... she really is an inspiration so I would like to give something back to Diabetes UK for all the support they have given us and even if this just makes my daughter laugh when I look ridiculous with short hair that will be enough for me xx

I will also be donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust. This charity will make a wig out of my haIr free of charge and give it to a child or young adult, who have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses xx
