This is My sons story..... on the 23rd January this year (2017) my son was taken down finally at 6:30pm to have his appendix removed at Alder hey childrens hospital. He had been in pain all week and our hospital (blackpool Victoria) sent us away 4 times misdiagnosed with gastroenteritis until finally Sunday 22nd they raced us upto Alder hey childrens hospital with a suspected appendicitis...... However on 23rd January the drs at Alder hey found that Wyatt's Appendix had in fact burst days ago and had almost disintegrated into his bowl... His entire insides were Gangrene and he had a free stool sitting in his tummy as his infection caused a hole in his bowel.

Wyatt had to have his bowel reconstructed and was tube fed for 3 weeks.... and even when we thought he was getting better he then contracted a serious blood infection..... The hospital and staff were amazing, they gave you the strength to carry on and offered us a place to stay so we could stay with wyatt. The Ronald Mc donald house offered our family a safe haven in the mist of the craziness and we were able to stick together as a family. My mother in law had one wish for her 70th birthday (this October) and that is to help raise money for the Ronald Mc Donald house as it is only privately funded and really needs all the help it can get.

Without the Ronald Mc Donald house we wouldn't of been able to stay together and be there for our son...... So I would like to Make Wyatt's Nans 70th Birthday wish and Raise £500 for this amazing charity that along side the hospital saved my sons life and offered us a safe haven so we could regroup and be strong for our son.

After spending a Month in hospital wyatt is now back to his normal self and is the strongest little boy I know.... were very grateful and would love if everyone could help us meet our target for wyatt and his nan.
