Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Together with three friends we are participating in the Longest Day Golf Challenge. We plan to play 72 holes of golf on Monday 19th June. Tee-off at Dunfermline Golf Club is at 4am, then onto Aberdour Golf Club (9am), Kinross Golf Club (1.30pm) rounding off at Pitreavie Golf Club from 6pm. Hopefully we will complete all four rounds before sunset at 10.04pm.
The charity I have selected to support is the Children's Ward at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Fife.
Stuart, my son, has been under the care of the wonderful staff there for over thirteen years now. Since a very young boy Stuart has had Bronchiectasis, a lung desease which caused him to have a lobectomy as a small child. Stuart will require life-long treatment to minimize any further lung damage.
We are extremely grateful to the doctors and nurses at the 'Vic' and the wonderful community nurses who regularly give Stuart treatment at home. The quality of care they give is second to none. We want to say 'thank you' by raising funds specifically for the Children's Ward in order to provide resources and facilities to make childrens' stays in hospital that bit more bearable.

I hope you can help me raise money by donating to my page. The most golf I have ever played in one day is two rounds which was knackering! Four rounds will be a really tough challenge. Any support is greatly appreciated and will spur me on enormously! Please, please donate whatever you can afford.
