On the 21st of May, I will be running the Stirling Marathon. Instead of raising money for a charity, I've decided to add my donations onto a memorial fund in memory of a friend of a friend. Derek Horsburgh's life came to a tragic end, leaving behind friends, family, a wife and two young children. Although I never met or even knew Derek, he was a much thought of friend of one of my workmates. A fundraising page has been set up by one of Dereks other friends, Stephen Black, who along with Bruce Totten and Ricky McNab will also be running the 26.2 miles in May. Any sponsor money recieved will be greatly appreciated and eventually added on to Stephens memorial fund for Derek. 👍
