Dad contacted Approachable Parenting and requested to attend the 5 Pillars of Parenting programme so that he could develop his parenting skills from a course that understood his faith and background.
Dad (Pakistani Origin) was enrolled on the next available course which was delivered at Anderton Park Childrens Centre.
Dad explained to AP that he is a single parent, now separated from his partner who had custody of their child, however the child was removed from the mother and placed in care and he wanted his son to live with him.
Dad attended the programme each week, although he was the only male in the group. He took an active role within the sessions asking questions and contributed to discussions.
