I will be riding the Prudential RideLondon 100 miles on the 29th July 2018. This will be the furthest that I have ever ridden. The ride leaves the London Olympic Park and heads through London and the Surrey hills, including Leith Hill and Box Hill, before heading back into London along the embankment, up Whitehall and finishing on The Mall

I am riding the Prudential RideLondon for little Amir you is being support by Lovetheone.org , a charity that is close to my heart.

Amir is 4 years old and the only child in the family. He was seen quickly by the team from Love the one and realised that he had a life threatening illness, sadly childhood leukaemia. Tests have confirmed that this is definitely Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) - a type of blood cancer.

AML carries a 50% survival rate for his age group and he needs to start chemotherapy as quickly as possible. He has been just admitted him onto the Paeds oncology ward now and he will be sedated for his bone marrow biopsy first thing in the morning. Intensive chemotherapy will then begin as we all watch and wait to see if Amir will be in that positive 50% category.

What I will be raising will be a small amount toward his much need estimated cost of £3,300. Put into perspective that would be the family's total income over 4 years. It is still a 50% chance but we will do everything we can to allow this little boy the right to health care.
