Story
This is Jordan 10 months old. , he has a severe case of branchycephaly which is flat head to the back of the skull! NHS aren’t willing to help, as they said they don’t fund this. This restricts him from a lot of things in later life. Example being; his first bike helmet, hard hats, safety equipment, insecure, etc. As perfect as he is to me, I want this resolved.
Our biggest worry is time.
As the nhs didnt tell us till last week they dont fund this. And as he is 10 months old now, as soon as he hits 12 months, he won’t be able to get results from the treatment as that’s when the skull starts hardening and it would be a waste of time.
The clinic I’ve chosen is Technology In Motion, it’s down in Bothwell. It’s a private clinic who specialise in this.
The overall treatment is £2050. I need to pay £600 on the 10th December and a following £587 on the 23rd December and then there are two other instalments just as high to finish the balance off. This is for the helmet and all the appointments and adjustments every 2-4 weeks till it’s time for the helmet to come off!
As embarrassing as this is. Our very last option was to do this. But we are desperate.
Thank you.
