Ive always liked the idea of helping others and ive done a lot of fundraising in the past for local charities. When i first heard about this four week trip to Borneo i was slightly apprehensive, however when i heard what a difference i could make to so many other peopless lives i decided i needed to help.

This is a huge task to take on , i need to fundraise £4290 . I have already managed to raise £ 429 by doing car boots and selling items i no longer use. Ive also given up half my pocket money. Im asking if at all possible for a donation to help this , every little will make a huge difference . Im willing to volunteer if anyone has any odd jobs they need doing in return for some help.

While in Borneo im going to be doing community , wildlife and enviromental project work which will hopfully include teaching some young children English, building clasrooms and some extremley important building of toilet facilities. I will also be building wells to help create fresh clean drinking water ....something we all take for granted. I’m hoping ill also get the chance to help towards protecting the wildlife and combating deforestation.

since camps international started running expeditions in 2002,over 22,000 students have travelled with them from around the world. These students have collectively completed over 80,000 weeks of volunteering,worked on a truly inspirational projects which have positively impacted on the lives of over 103,000 people.
