Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
The Boombox Youth Project is working with young people aged 10-18 years who are living in South Ward, Weston Super Mare an area ranked as being in the top 5% most economically and socially deprived in the United Kingdom. We deliver a range of youth work opportunities that enable young people to make informed decisions about the high risk issues effecting their lives including substance use and abuse, crime, drug running, inappropriate use of the internet and knives. We are reaching 450 young people per year with 60 young people regularly attending the Boombox Youth sessions. We are using a youth mobile to reach young people across the estates our team of dedicated youth workers are building strong effective relationships with young people through which we are offering support, advice and guidance and opportunities to engage in activities which are creative, challenging and fun.
We continue to value and appreciate the ongoing governance and support we receive from Boomsatsuma Creative CIC. Thank you.
