John's sudden death has been a massive shock to his family and friends alike.
Anyone who knew John will remember him for his unfaltering loyalty, superb sense of humour, and ability to make light of any situation, good or bad.
To his children and partner he was something else, a role model, a hero and a very loving dad.
John passed away in London, miles away from home, miles away from his mum and dad, miles away from his children and partner.
To help heal the pain the family needed to get John back home as soon as they possibly could and this took the form of a private ambulance. For those of you who don't know, a private ambulance costs over £1000 and was a huge financial burden for the family.
Michael Rushton and myself have set up this page in the hope that you can help support us in 'bringing John home'.
He stood by many of us in times of trouble and if we could, we would have walked home with him on our backs.
