From 2 mother's perspectives, here's our story....... There is nothing more precious then bringing a child into the world, raising them, watching them grow up and growing old with them. Unfortunately, in May 2017, our worlds were destroyed, when our beautiful boys journey of life came to an end. They both suffered their own separate battles, however being best friends from secondary school, meant that they stuck by each others side throughout the darkest of times. With Connor having suffered from depression for some time, he would seek support through Carlo. When Carlo received the diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma back in January 2016, Connor returned the favour. The support they gave each other was second to none and without question. As best friends do, they stuck by each others side until the very end. The strength they displayed through their struggles was inspiring and helped us and our families and we were in awe of our baby boy's. There is not a day that goes by where we don't think of them and feel the pain of their absence, however we want them to be remembered for the true heroes they were and although we cannot change the past, we may have an effect on the future. It becomes clear that we mourn over their deaths but it is our choice as mothers to CELEBRATE the lives they lived. Nothing can replace our boys, however we want to raise awareness of the conditions they faced and hopefully make a difference and save lives. So we are raising money to donate to Teenage and Young Adults Cancer Trust and Prevention of suicide/SOBS. We ask you to dig deep and help make a difference.
