    Story

We are organising a charity fundraising walk called " Isla's Butterfly walk " on the 10th June 2018 to raise funds for stillborn babies and their families.

On the 5th October 2017 what seemed like another ordinary day , until i got a text from my daughter Danielle who was 31 weeks pregnant she was concerned about her baby movemnets she hadnt felt her move that day , so i said to phone the maternity and get checked out , thinking everything would be fine , sadly it wasnt , myself , Danielle and Jordan went to the hospital , Danielle was taken by the MW , and we were told just to wait in the waiting room , Danielle will join us soon , then the MW came for us , we were told she couldnt find a heartbeat but no to panic , the doctor was on her way , this is where the doctor comfimed our fears , Isla's heart had stopped.

On the 7th Oct 2017 at 4.10pm Isla was born sleeping ,weighing 3lbs 12oz, she was perfect and beautiful , at Wishaw General , sadly Wishaw at the time did not have a self contained room away from birthing mothers and babies , they have recently now opened one thanks to donations through other Bereaved parents and continious fundraising , we would like to now give something back to the hospital for the support and care that Danielle and Jordan and Isla and ourselves recieved at such an emotional time.

We would also like to donate some of the donations to RMB, that gave us beautiful memories and pictures of Isla and the family ,RMB is a volunteer charity that come to the hospital to take pictures together of your baby and family , and also to Angel Wings Forever Dressed in Love that donate beautiful dresses and outfits and memory packs from wedding dresses.

We will be grateful for any donations recieved.

If this helps even a little bit it will be worth it, one tragedy that no parents/grandparents won't to go through
