Story
As you know Christmas is coming up and it’s not a nice time for children or their families who are in hospital.
Henry, my 14 month old son, was recently rushed to hospital and ended up staying for 3 days to help recover from pneumonia. The staff, nurses and Dr's were exceptional and made him and us feel as comfortable as possible at all times. I noticed that the ward could do with some new toys, especially for the children who are spending months on the wards with terminal illnesses. Therefore, I am hoping to raise funds to buy and deliver new toys to the ward the week before Christmas and put a smile on the faces of the young children who unfortunately will be spending Christmas in hospital.
I saw first hand how much joy these toys can bring to a child who is going through a difficult time, so you can make a huge difference!
