Story
EDIT: This page is now to add a permanent memorial from Lisa's class to her grave, rather than contribute to the funding of a headstone.
In March 2017, Lisa Kelly was tragically taken away from us. At the end of an ordinary day working with the people she loved, she collapsed and died at Bamburgh School in South Shields. She left behind a very young family: her partner Gav and twin girls Scarlett and Jasmine, aged 5.
Lisa was selfless and caring; she would do anything for anyone and she was always smiling. I worked closely with Lisa and she is missed by everyone every day. Her family was everything to her.
On Tuesday 15th May 2018 my class and I are going to take part in an endurance swim. They will swim for an hour in the morning and I am aiming to swim from approximately 9am until 2:30pm.
I would be extremely grateful if you could sponsor us to do this; there will be challenges but it is definitely for a worthwhile cause. The money raised will be used to fund a memorial from Bamburgh School at Lisa's grave, with any additional money to be donated to a charitable cause championed by Lisa.
