Story
We are working with our local church to support "Operation Christmas Child" which is run by The Samaritans’ Purse, a charitable organisation that delivers shoebox gifts to thousands of underprivileged children every year at Christmas time. Last Christmas the church sponsored 100 gifts through its members and their personal networks, and this year they’ve committed to sponsoring 500! Each gift costs £15 which includes the items inside -toys, school supplies, books, personal care items – and postage costs, so as a church we are looking to raise a total of £7500 by the end of October, and Chris and I have personally committed to raising 500 towards this amount. We will also be helping to pack the boxes in November to be sent off.

Chris and I have volunteered and worked with charities in India, Jordan, Turkey and Nigeria, and we have seen firsthand how much simple gift is appreciated by a child who has nothing. We are so excited to be a part of this great project! Thank you so much for your help!!
