Last year i took part in the Great North Run for Macmillan in memory of Aunty Deb who we sadly lost on the 4 th December 2015 ,she was 55 years old .Deb was diagnosed 2 years previous with an aggressive brain tumor .It is still very tough to accept that she is no longer here with us . To me certainly and I know to many others she was one of the best . Her caring , selfless and loving ways has left a hole that can never be replaced .
So this year I have signed up again for the half marathon(13 miles ) that is the Great North Run which takes place on September 10 th .Any pennies I manage to raise from you lovely lot will be donated to Kelly's cause 'Debs gift '.Not only will this fund a full days research into brain tumors but we will also have a plaque made in memory of Deb which will be placed on the wall of hope and in one of the research centers of excellence .
