Thousands of children enter the foster care system in the UK each year. Many carry little more than the clothes on their backs. We want to implement an initiative within our Society to provide the essentials to these brave children on their journey to find a home.

Our mission is to provide comfort, support and a sense of dignity for children entering the foster care system. We want to enable this by producing age and gender appropriate back packs (or similar) containing essential items as well as comforting items which can be given to children.

We call this initiative ‘CUBs’ = Comfort U Bags

We are currently running a pilot for CUBs in conjunction with Swindon Council's Fostering & Adoption team. We want to produce at least 65 CUBs for the children in their care in addition to supporting them increasing awareness of fostering and how to become a foster carer.
