Some run marathons, some do solo endurance trips around the world. As a man who loves a dram, a swally, a brewskie and a burger, and has a messed up ankle I'm going to be a sober vegan for the month of March (Including St Paddy's day). This may not sound like much but if you've seen my love of tonic wine and all things creamy you'll understand this is quite an endeavour! Doing it to train my will power muscle and also give some of the money I've saved to help children in Sierra Leone who have been affected by the Ebola crisis get to school. I'll be giving £20 a week which will make enough to pay for one student's school fees, buy new uniform and school materials for 2 years! A wee bit can go a whole way so if my shpeal has inspired you in anyway why not do something amazing and donate to a wonderful cause!

My friend, Laura Petkuté, has started this amazing grass roots movement through the connections she made in Sierra Leone after her time volunteering there a few years ago. Since then through her, and other friends fundraising they have helped 106 children get back to school and are working hard on helping more with your help this can keep going! :)
