The brave ones of Buyingtime will be crying their way through the Rough Runner 10k course on the 15th April to raise funds for Amazing Alice.

About Amazing Alice

The aim of the Amazing Alice charity is to help families make memories precious. Southampton’s paediatric oncology unit sees around 120 children a year diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately some of these children, although they fight so hard and bravely, are not cured and sadly don't make it. We want to help those families to make special memories that they can remember forever.

Alice Razza herself fought cancer very hard for over 4 years and In her last 6 months, friends set up a Just Giving page to help her family make precious memories with Alice. Those precious memories now help Alice's Mum, Dad and siblings to remember Alice and all the joy she took from those special days. We want to help other families to do the same.

Alice also designed a poster when she was poorly that focussed on “what makes a good nurse" through her eyes. We would like to raise money to help nurses from Alice's local hospital to explore courses not available to them within their training budget. This will help them develop skills to help children with terminal and life limiting conditions.
