I was looking for something to remember our friend by, Barnaby James Woolcock, who sadly lost his battle to cancer last month. I came up with the idea of a sporting fund as he loved sport so much. He was a regular at the boxing events in Blackpool and he also walked me in on my first boxing fight back in October last year.

So after hearing about the sharpstyle team attending the box cup in the UK and the organiser running off with all monies leaving the box cup being cut short I have decided to raise money on their behalf in memory of Barnaby.

On the 1st June I will be taking to the ring in my second heavy weight contest fight to raise money for a great cause! All my ticket money I make on the night will be presented to sharpstyle with everything the crowd funding page makes as well so ypur support means a great deal.

I did ask Barnaby's partner, Lorna for her thoughts on the idea beforehand and she loved the idea. Lorna will present the cheque to Sharpstyle on Barnaby's behalf.
