I like many people are in that trap where i can’t afford to buy my own house. I am stuck renting from my employer, and am unable to have mum liveing with me full time. and i am not earning enough to pay market rent either. The other issue is i can’t get on the housing waiting list as i do not have close family near by. My mum lost dad nearly three years ago, and at nearly 71 years of age, she needs to live closer to me. She can’t afford to rent private either, and likewise she can’t put herself on the waiting list here either. The solution therefore i believe, would be to kindly ask 200,000 people to give just £1 to this worthy cause in memory of dad who lost the family home in the early 1990’s property crash. It would mean so much to us. Any surplus money would be given to local charities.
