Weʼve raised £230 to To take 30 veterans to the 100th Anniversay of the Battle of Cambrai in France. A lot of the veterans are now retired.

Story
The Plymouth Branch Royal Tank Regiment Association has been raising funds to get Veterans over to Cambrai in France to commemorate the 100th Anniversay of the Battle of Cambrai in 1917. The first major battle in which tanks were used.
We have just been informed by a sponsor that they will now not be able to assist with funding.
The branch has raised over £3000 in its own funding but arè now short of the £7000 required.
As most of the veterans are now retired they are having difficulties and are struggling to raise the final funding.
A lot of the members travelling have served the country in oprations in Borneo, Malaya, Northern Ìreland, Germany, the Middle East and the Gulf war.
As secretary of the branch I am seeking to raise funds for these veterans in being to commemorate their fallen Tank Crew brotherhood.
