£1,124raised of £1,000 target by 58 supporters

Weʼve raised £1,124 to Support our friend and colleague Hannah Oliver-Willets. Her 4 year old son Zac is undergoing extensive chemotherapy at present.

    Shrewsbury, UK
Funded on Thursday, 22nd November 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

A colleague and friend of the Shropshire CRHT team, Hannah Oliver Willets, has a four year old son who has been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia and is undergoing extensive chemotherapy at present. The family are having to spend a lot of time in hospital with Zac and it has turned their world upside down. The money raised will go towards them making life as good as possible for Zac and the rest of the family.

To start the fund raising I will be completing the Long Mynd Hike on the 6th/7th of October. This is a 24hr/50 mile race over the hill of South Shropshire.

Hello. Wow, what a weekend. I successfully finished the hike at 0706 on Saturday morning and that gave me an overall finish time of 18 hours and 2 minutes. Rain, sunshine, hail stones; a beautiful sunset and sunrise, more stars than you could shake a stick at and the most fantastic chilly frost. Breakfast was brilliant. Thank you to everyone who supported me and donated money for Zac's cause. Donations carried on arriving after I had finished the hike and the total now stands at £1186. I will close the page at the end of the week, Dave.

Hello, this time tomorrow I'll be well into the hike and hopefully the rain will have stopped. Thank you everyone who has supported me and donated their money. It is all very much appreciated and will go towards getting Zac the treatment he needs. For those that wish to track my progress you can follow me on . On the webpage click on the link to Longmynd hike 2018, click in as a guest then search for my name. I will post an update on Sunday to let you know how it went and how many blisters I have. Thank you, Dave.

5 more sleeps to the hike and over £900 has been donated. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared and supported my little effort. Please keep sharing with others who you think would be happy to support and let's see how much we can raise for Zac and his family. Thank you, Dave.
