I am creating this fundraising page in support of little Lucas Calvin who arrived into the world on Friday the 30th of December 2016.

This was not just a routine birth but one that not only surprised Mother Kirsty and Father Walker but the whole family.

Little Lucas was born 16 week premature (24 weeks into pregnancy) weighing a mere 1lb 3oz and measuring 29cms in length at Wishaw General hospital.

On the 4th of January Lucas was moved to the Southern General Hospital in Galsgow to allow him to receive the best possible specialist care that his little body required.

There have been complications, good days, bad days and he's showing all the signs of being a little fighter!

On Wednesday the 18th of January mother Kirsty was able to hold little Lucas for the 1st time since his birth a milestone in this little boys fight.

The family are giving all their support to mum and dad and have taken on a role than many of us will never ever experience in our lifetimes.

As a show of support for Lucas and his family myself and my good friend Alistair Browning are hoping to raise as much funds as possible in order to give them and little Lucas the reassurance that any financial costs and implications with his ongoing care will not cause the family any unnecessary stress and worry. Their concern and love will be dedicated to supporting this little boys on going battle.

Alistair and I are running the Stirling marathon in May and hopefully the New York marathon in Novemebr as a show of our support and to raise as much awareness for this great cause!

Just a quick update to say that little Lucas came through surgery yesterday 23/01/2017 and shows all the signs of being a little fighter!!!!
