Story
Derry CoderDojo is a free coding club for kids aged 8-18 years who have a passion for all things computer-related. We cover many topics at our sessions including BBC Micro:Bits, HTML, mobile application development, games development, coding languages, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, LEGO Mindstorm and much more.
We are always keen to have the best resources available in order to provide the best education to the kids that we can. This is not possible without the support of local businesses and organisations as well as donations from parents. Also, it is only through the support of Ulster University that we have first class computer facilities for the kids to learn on at our sessions.
All our mentors are volunteers, therefore all funds raised go straight back into the dojo; either to cover essential costs such as insurance, or to purchase more equipment for the kids to use.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support!
