Story
I have been accepted as a volunteer with VoluntEar, an organisation which arranges overseas volunteering of the Deaf Community.
I will be spending 3 weeks volunteering in Nepal in July 2017.
Two weeks of my trip will be spent working as part of a group renovating a poor local deaf school near Kathmandu, Nepal. The renovation work will help improve the classrooms and the other school facilities which are used by local deaf students and which are very run down.
One additional week will be spent teaching Nepalese deaf students alongside local deaf teachers. the cultural exchange provides valuable alternative to their normal education and will help Nepalese students to develop their self-confidence and motivation for the future.
You assistance in helping me raise the funds required will be very much appreciated.
If you require any further information on the organisation who I will be working with then please do not hesitate to contact me.

A massive thanks to everyone that donated via "Just Giving". I leave the UK on the 1st of July with a group of 15 deaf children including myself. Can't wait to work with the Deaf Community in Nepal. Once again thank you for helping me make this happen. Dillon Parmar
