Story
Five years ago Elizabeth was diagnosed with COPD and Nontuberculous mycobacteria, subsequently she developed pseudonomas and broncheactisis.
Elizabeth died on 14 June 2017 of broncheactisis.
Professor Robert Wilson and the team at The Royal Brompton supervised Elizabeth's care over the 5 years, devoting significant personal time to help Elizabeth manage her condition and identify alternative antibiotic treatments.
The picture shows Elizabeth on a cold day when she could not breathe properly and needed to cover her nose and mouth before she went outside.
