Story
Story
On the 20th August 2008 Ellie-Mae was born and was joined by her twin sister Leah. Unfortunately not long after her birth Ellie-Mae was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, however this didn't stop her. Despite the fact Ellie-Mae was unable to do things her sister could, she always had a big smile on her face. Ellie-Mae loved to make everyone laugh with her cheeky, mischievous, bubbly character and had made great progress throughout her short life, battling against the disease. Doctors said Ellie-Mae would never walk and proved the doctors wrong when she met the Duchess of Cornwall. No matter what Ellie-Mae did, it was accompanied with a huge smile, nothing ever seemed too much trouble for her. She recently participated in the Special Olympics in Sheffield and received a medal for doing so.
Sadly on 16th August, Ellie-Mae died unexpectedly, just four days before what would have been her 9th birthday. Ellie-Mae has touched the hearts of so many people during her short life and this page has been set up to raise money to help get her a wonderful headstone.
Ellie-Mae made a huge impact on so many people's lives and will be loved and missed by all her family, friends, teachers and everyone who knew her. Gone but never forgotten, sleep tight Princess xxx
