Anyone who knows me will know that my hair is one of the most important things to me, and I'd never dream of cutting it short, however on December 6th I will be cutting my hair short to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Little Princess Trust and the Lymphoma Association. Unfortunately, all 3 of these charities are now impacting mine and my family's lives and without the donations from the public, they would not be able to do the amazing supportive work which they do. I am able to see first hand just how important these 3 charities are and I want to raise as much money as I possibly can to split evenly and donate between the 3 of them.

When I've thought about cutting off my hair and donating it to be made into wigs for those going through chemotherapy I've always decided against it, because I know I'd feel good about doing it, but hate the way I looked. Its not until it really affects you that your outlook changes. It shouldn't be like that, but the reality is that it is. If I have the ability to help someone feel better by donating my hair to be made into a wig, I am going to. Maybe I'll hate my hair short, I know I probably will, but at least I've got the choice to like it or hate it, unlike those who are going through treatment.

I would like to raise £300 to donate £100 to each charity, so please please donate anything you can, even if it's just £1, it means more than you will ever know. *EDIT* I have now raised this target thanks to the generous donations I have had in less than 12 hours so we are now looking to raise £1200!

p.s I have to dye my hair brown to donate it and so that it grows healthily and I'm VERY sad about not having pink hair anymore so if thats not a reason to donate I don't know what is!
