I’m embarking on a very personal challenge which is to slim down to my target weight within 17 weeks, I have 3st 4 lbs to lose to get to my target weight (my pre baby weight and then some!!)

Why within 17 weeks I hear you say?? Well, one of my best friends Catherine, and her husband Rob recently gave birth to twins at 23 weeks, 17 weeks early. Although both babies were born alive and were given life support, unfortunately they both passed away – James Scott passed on 24th August just 2 days after he was born, and Tilly Elizabeth on 2nd October 42 days after she was born.

Throughout James & Tilly’s short lives they were cared for at New Cross Hospital’s Bluebell Ward where Catherine and Rob were able to stay in a flat to be close by 24 hours a day. They have nothing but high praise for the ward and I would love to raise some money for Catherine and Rob to donate to the ward in memory of James & Tilly.

They have left an amazing legacy and they will never be forgotten and I have seen true strength in Catherine and Rob.
