Story
49 for the 49!
Completing 49 challenges for the 49% who have no access to mental health support. www.eymh.org
Last year, many European institutions, the European Union, the Council of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights, as well as many NGOs, spoke out, released reports, and shared work about mental health.
One of the most interesting reports came from the Council of the European Union. In it, they discussed many facets of mental health across the EU, specifically this:
"49% of young people across Europe, have no access to mental health support."
https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/policies/mental-health/
We think this is terrible and that something needs to be done.
See what challenges have been done, are going to be done and why they are a challenge for people below...
Challenges completed so far:
1. 15th January - Salcey Half Marathon - Nick (UK) - First big run in 4 years!
2. 14th April - Duston Triathlon - Nick (UK) - First-ever triathlon!

At EYMH, we believe the best way to improve mental health support for young people, and make it relevant, appropriate and useful to young people, is that it is CO-PRODUCED with young people!
To do this, we need to train and support the right young people across Europe, to enable and empower them to feel confident in getting involved in this way.
Led by our CEO Nick, we aim to complete 49 challenges in 2024, support our work and our participants by donating whatever you can, to contribute to our target.
This funding will pay for us to bring together young people from across Europe to be trained and supported to make positive changes for youth mental health.
What type of events could you do?!

17 days agoNick completed a 'Do it yourself' Triathlon on the weekend after his 'actual' Triathlon was cancelled last minute due to a broken pump in the pool. This takes even more dedication and commitment, so GREAT WORK NICK! Coming up next are some 30-day challenges, with Paulina doing her first ever Half-Marathon in June!!!

23 days ago1 race done earlier in the year, we now ramp up peoples involvement, with a few more events planned and coming up. But we still need MORE people to get some events in if we want to reach our target by end of 2024, so please donate your money, or your time, and take up a challenge: https://eymh.org/2024/01/16/49-for-the-49/

About the fundraiser
Nick Morgan
We act in order to raise up the voices of young people across Europe to promote mental health and support those impacted by mental ill-health. We, as a group, will be completing 49 events for the 49% of young people who do not have access to mental health services across Europe.
