You are all incredible; with your help we managed to get coats and gifts for 69 children in Queensferry and Dalmeny. We were lucky to get a grant from Almond neighbourhood network and help from the rotary so managed to get most coats and shoes as well. Thank you Anne and the elves -sounds like we should be a 50,s band!

We will be open at the community huts on school lane off the loan 10-2 both Saturday and Sunday this weekend and next if you still have as new toys and clothes to donate to a new home. We particularly need toys for the under 2,s and small gifts for dads.

We have met our target THANK YOU ALL. We have also been lucky to receive a grant from city of Edinburgh and a generous donation of £300 from our local rotary to buy winter coats. We cannot turn off the just giving page until its been running 4 weeks but do have enough to cover Christmas. Any money remaining will be used to support some of these families throughout the year and try to look at supporting these children in joining local activities that they would otherwise miss out on.
