I apologise for the weight of this message, however, this is being written at the time of great sadness and with a heavy heart. Our dear close friend Stevie Anderson has been admitted to hospital with Sepsis and Pneumonia and is now in the hands of the Pallitive care team where he will sadly come to rest, comforted by his immediate family.

For those who know Stevie you will already know he has battled with Spinocerebella Ataxia Type 3 And as a result of this his body is simply not strong enough to battle this infection.

Due to Stevies condition he has been unable to work for a number of years, any money he did receive was put towards paying for his care and medical equipment that he required and therefore understandably has not had the chance to save for funeral costs and I believe it is only right that we try and raise money to give him the funeral he and his kids truly deserve.

Unfortunatley, Stevie has no other family apart from his 3 beautiful children and I also appreciated that many of you might not know Stevie directly, but if you could find it in your heart donate even a little please do.

We have a target amount we are hoping to reach in order to fulfil these requirements, any extra funds will be given to SCA charity to raise awareness of this horrible illness.
