Story
On the 17th March 2017, Freya Hope Phillips took her final peaceful breath at only 4 years old. She was with those who mattered the most, her mammy, daddy and big brother Tyler.
Freya's story started back in 2012, when she was first brought into this world. Unlike most children she was diagnosed with an extremely rare condition (1/100,000) called Pfeiffer Syndrome. The condition not only affected her sight, hearing, and her ability to eat and breathe on her own, it also meant numerous visits to hospitals and experts across the UK to try to help Freya.
Despite all of this, Freya was one of the happiest children you could ever meet, she was loved and admired by all. Freya was always full of smiles, happiest playing in her kitchen and helping others; some might also say she was a little deviant at times. She was extremely brave and strong regardless of everything that she went through.
We would like to send a huge thank you to you all for your kind words and thoughts. We would also like to thank all of those who played some part in Freya's life which helped to make it such a special one; this includes family, friends, teachers, class mates, nurses, doctors and anyone else that she met along her journey.
We hope to make Freya's send off a very special one, we would also like to raise enough money to create a memorial garden to remember all of the happy times that we shared with Freya. Any donations would be kindly received (no matter how big or small). All money raised will go towards the creation of Freya Hope's memorial garden which will be filled with everything and anything that she loved. A special place for anyone who knew Freya to spend some time and remember the amazing little girl that she was.
All our love,
Freya Hope's Family

7 years agoThank you everyone once again for your incredible support and kind donations towards Freya's Memorial Garden Fund. We have already far exceeded our initial target, including all of the amazing contributions external to this fund from Freya's friends, family, school, care team and the Llandeilo Fire & Rescue station charity car wash! Work has already begun on the garden and plans are all in place, we promise it will certainly be quite spectacular! We are aiming to complete the garden over the next few months ready for Freya's birthday!
