No longer raising funds for a headstone. Any money raised will be to contribute in any way needed and anything not needed will be donated to Lewin Ward Addenbrookes who took very good care of Chrissie for many, many months

As you know on Friday 6th we will be saying farewell to Chrissie. Over the years she took in anyone that needed somewhere. Gary and Dave shared there home and there mum with so many. She had nothing but still tried to give everything. It will come as no surprise that there is no nest egg or pot of money to pay for a funeral. Gary and Dave would never ask for anything and I know its all in hand but I think that it's the time for some of Chrissie's waifs, strays and stowaways to give a little. Both Gary and Dave work so hard. They both have gorgeous families to look after and when Chrissie had her stroke in 2012 both there lives changed overnight. They 18 months of hospital visits. They had to take over her life. Post, bills, finances. Sending clothes to hospital and constant conversations with consultants. They had to move Chrissie out of the house she been in almost her whole life, decorate her bungalow, arrange physio, carers, shopping and buy basically everything to put in her new home. The last 5 years they've given everything and more to make sure their mum was safe and ok. Now it's time they got something back. I'd love to reach the target but I'd love even more to surpass it too. £1 or £100 everything is welcome large or small.
