    Story

    Broxbourne Tennis Academy Community Project

We are raising money to help improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families within our local community.

We want to be able to provide opportunities for sporting achievements and experiences they would not be able to achieve without our help.

Tennis has so many mental, emotional and physical benefits but we understand it’s not as easy for some families to have the opportunity to have access to a local sports club, whether that be due to carer responsibilities, finances, health issues, circumstances and that’s where we want to help to try and make a difference.

Being able to open up our sports club and offer free tennis to those who want to be apart of a team, make new friends, play a sport, get fit, socialise and increase confidence and ability is so important to us and the lives of our younger generation.

We believe that every child deserves a shot and what better way to offer this by giving the children of our community this opportunity.

Our long term goal will be to raise enough funds to be able to upgrade the sports club facilities allowing us to offer tennis and sport in general to all walks of life with the facilities to accommodate everyone.

Every child that is selected for our programme will receive a goody bag along with their very own tennis racket and a set of balls.

    Programme Advantages:

    * Encouraging Physical Activity (Promoting healthy living and overall skills

    * Sense of Accomplishment (Mastering a skills boosts confidence)

    * Inspires Life Lessons (Persistence, Stamina, Grit and Teamwork)

    * A Place to have Fun (offering children a Positive, Safe and Welcoming Environment)

Between myself and the tennis coaches Dom and Harry, we have the skills, knowledge and compassion to be able to make a real difference, all we need now is you to help us change and inspire the children within our community.

** We have many events planned for this year to promote our foundation and to raise funds, starting with our very own superhero & Fairytale day where the kids will be welcomed to our club to have a hit with their favourite characters...more info to follow **

Please like, share and contribute to our foundation it

    Many Thanks

    Gem, Dom & Harry
