A huge thank you for everyone who contributed. We have exceeded our target and have more than sufficient for a memorial bench. Therefore, a donation will be made to a charity. If you have a suggestion as to which charity would be most appropriate, please let me know either through here or jathammond@gmail.com. I have sent the forms off to Southend council for a bench located at Alexandra bowling green which is where George and Sue regularly went for breakfast. A big thank you too for the cash donations. George was clearly much loved.
