Suddenly, on Thursday 9th August 2018, Robert "Hacker" Lyon passed away to the heartbreak of those who knew and loved him.

A proud and passionate Rangers man and a founding member of the Haddington Loyal RSC, Hacker was an immediately recognisable and much loved member of the local community. His love for football also led him into coaching, mentoring young people over a number of years at Haddington Star, Haddington United and Kings Meadow primary school. Whether he was family, a friend, a coach or an acquaintance, Hacker lit up any room he entered and filled it with warmth in his own, inimitable style. His larger than life personality endeared him to all those who crossed his path and his passing will be sorely felt by those closest to him.

Hacker's lasting legacy will be his 3 sons; Robert, Gary and Mark, raising them into the men they are today. All funds raised will go directly to the family to help make this difficult time a bit easier.
