Hannah has been selected to represent Beverley and Hornsea Scout District at the World Scout Jamboree in July 2019. She travels with 35 other Scouts from Humberside Scout County each of whom needs to raise £3,845 to attend. This pays for travel, all equipment, training camps and a donation to help a Scout from a third world country to attend. With 30,000 scouts from all over the world, the camp celebrates the spirit of Scouting while promoting global peace and understanding, appreciating other cultures, environmental issues and the value of co-operation. Hannah has been in Scouts since age 6 and is now a Young Leader with 1st Beverley Scouts. She is sitting GCSEs this year aso fundraising time is limited but has bag packs planned, Easter bingo, stalls at local events and is doing a sponsored litter pick around her village to raise monies, plus has a part time job waitressing.Any excess funds raised will be used to suppot fellow Scout unit members who may be struggling to raise funds and to support her local Explorer Scout unit.
