Story
On the 7th of November 2017, Ashling Bartley sadly passed away at the age of just 19 years old.
Ashling was such a kindhearted girl who was liked by everyone. She truly had a heart of gold. Despite her problems, she always put everyone's needs before her own.
Unfortunately, Ashling took her own life due to mental health issues, even though everyone in her life had tried to help and support her, sadly it just wasn't enough to save her.
A few friends and I are participating in the Colour Obstacle Rush on the 2nd of June 2018 in memory of lovely Ashling. We would love to raise money for the Charity Mind and to also be able to create a memorial bench for Ashling to place in Bletchley College's grounds, Ashlings place of study, with the money raised.
When you are experiencing a mental health problem; supportive and reliable information can change your life and that's what Mind does, they empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them.
