The Archibald family inspired by Hannah are taking part in the big walk on Saturday 20th May walking over 30 miles round every street of Newton-le-Willows to raise funds for the 21st St Helens Scout Group.
The 21st St Helens Scout Group was formed on 1st January 2000 following the merger of two other groups. The group has grown considerably since then and with the development of the programme more and more money is needed to ensure that the young people can enjoy scouting to the full.
As well as this the scout hut itself has already had but still needs a considerable amount of work doing both inside and out, which again needs money to ensure that the hut can continue to be used to offer Scouting for All.
