    Story

As a group of friends for over 25 years we wanted to get together to do something fun. Over the past few years we have all experienced some really difficult and upsetting situations and throughout it all it has made us realise that we are so lucky to have each other. We are Stronger Together. We saw the Colour Run advertised and its slogan was "The Happiest 5K on the Planet." We thought this was a great opportunity to come together as friends and also raise some money for a worthwhile cause.

Morgan is a local girl to one of our team, who is battling a relapse of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, first diagnosed at just 7 years old! Morgan is now 13.
On the 30th March 2017 it was confirmed Morgan had relapsed with the same leukaemia B cell -A.L.L .
Morgan is now having 5 different chemotherapy treatments and will remain in LGI for some time for this gruelling treatment ! The first time she underwent this the intense treatment took it's toll on her tiny body but she came out fighting and went into remission .
Today, Morgan is a very poorly girl and needs help to keep her mum and family by her bedside !
Cat, Morgan's mum, is being housed at Eckersley House along with Morgan's younger brother Blake and niece Kirsty.
We are asking for donations no matter how small too take the financial strain off the family at this really difficult time !
These donations will help with fuel cost /food and help Cats children visit more often too support Morgan plus extra treats for Morgan while laid up in bed. The expense of being at hospital while you have children at home is a nightmare and continually rising.
The Manchester Colour Run is not about pushing us to our limits and enduring hours of pain, it is about love and friendship and celebrating what we can achieve when we stand together. We will, on the day, be running with Morgan on our minds and will be sending her lots of love and healing light from the Stronger Together team. We are proud to be part of Morgan's Army... x
