East London Community Support (ELC Support) is based in Newham and has been operating for the past 2 years. ELC Support was set up by Henry Mugabo a local resident. The idea was to provide a structured based educational support pro-gramme aimed at supporting those failing in the educational system and to prevent being lured into a life of crime and drugs.

Over the past two years, Mr Mugabo has funded part of this imitative as he wanted give something back to the community and help young people in the process.

One of the key focus of the project is to bring back hope to our young people that a good and successful educational achievement is a key factor in determining their future success and be not only an inspiration to future young people that a good education should be their main aim, but more importantly not be a burden on the state but a shining beacon for others to follow.
