Story
Derby Grammar School support Gedeli B school in Mwanza, Tanzania. The children from Hisani Orphanage attend Gedeli B. Ssemambo Henry is a 10 year old orphan at Hisani Orphanage. A week ago, whilst playing football outside the orphanage, he fell in soil covered burning coal. Fred, who is in charge of Hisani orphanage and who helps the DGS students when we visit Mwanza, is pleading for our help. He needs to send Henry to a specialist hospital (Mater Hospital) in Nairobi for treatment "because his wounds are exposed to infections which may lead to amputation of his legs."
Fred has managed to raise $350 but needs $3800 in order to get this treatment for Henry.
Any help you can give would be gratefully received.

6 years agoThank you everybody that has donated to help Henry. I have had other donations sent to me and with the amount raised on here, have managed to reach the £2500 target which is amazing. Your kindness and generosity is heartwarming. I am now in the process of closing the page so that I can receive the money to send over. When I visit in the summer, I will get some photos with Henry and find a way to update you all of his condition.
